I am finally on me Yr2 Sem2 semester break and thank god.
The last few months has been a tiring and hectic road for me. Not that i've never mentioned before but seriously, this semester was the worse!!
Not only do i have 5 days of class but i have 6 subjects per week.
6 subjects in a week... in a college... is stressing. Seriously, take it from a person who has gone college for 6 years. I know.
I have been very unproductive with my own artworks this semester.
Its always with the assignments and such. To be frank, i dislike my assignments... a lot. Most of the time, we are rushing them that we are not learning anything at all. A rushed assignment is shyt work. A rushed student doing assignment is also a shyt work. So y u no give us more time then?
I know U are getting us ready for the outside world, i understand that. But dont forget, in the outside world, we dont have 5 or 6 projects to work on AT THE FREAKING SAME TIME!!
We usually have one project in hand so that we can fully concentrate on it and produce great outcome.
I was really optimistic when i finally got my chance to enter to this college. Unfortunately, i am pessimistic and regretted every decision i made into coming to this college.
I HAVE NO FREEDOM IN DOING THE WAY THAT I WANT!
Please bear this in mind, if u wanna enroll into this art college, make sure what they are teaching you is what you want and is what you can cope with. If you are a person of own creativity and ways, fair warning... dont join this college. It'll kill you!
If u think what im saying about this college is wrong, correct me. But i still wont fucking care cos they have ruined all the good image i had of them.
I realized that i can do no such thing.
To me, art is infinite. Art is based on imagination. Art can be anything. When i was 5/6, i paint like there was no worry in the world; i paint how i want it and applied it.
The word art can be describe as several things such as: a study of creative skill, a process of using the creative skill. Arts can be a collection of disciplines that produce artworks that compelled by a personal drive; hence conveys a message, mood or symbolism for the audience.
Art stimulates a person's thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and ideas. There is no right or wrong.
