The feeling of...

loneliness.

Its been 3 days that i have not been scolded or yelled at by my parents. 

Yea, because im being a lone wolf now, silencing myself from the world and from them. Its a good thing, i guess, since im not being scolded.

Like i said before, i have been scolded at recently for things that i have not done or said. So i decided from that day onwards, i am not gonna speak or show any emotions towards my family.

It worked.... and i survived 3 days of no scolding.

Though Dad is suspicious of my act and has been trying to ask me what's going on but i ignored the question.

Throughout all the years, i have always been tough~ tough on myself, tough on the outside kinda thing. But the truth is, im never tough, inside.

You may see me chatting away happily or maybe even just happily chilling out. Well, looks can deceive you. Sometimes(most of the time) im just too down to let my emotion show.

Why waste energy and time letting people know you're down and having them console you? Why bother at all actually? I rather keep it all in here and suppress them. Why worry others when you can keep it all to yourself right?

Anyways, im not here to bring down the atmosphere. Been busy with artworks lately, especially for CF artbook and my own stuffs.

However, most of my stuffs are just doodles cos i have to focus more on the CF artbook.

Also, i've finished Kore wa Zombie desu ka, and am obsessed with Hellscythe and Seraphim. They're soooo pwetty and owhsome. (>3<) So here's a doodle i did on them.

Sorry for the late Halloween post. Was so busy with college assignments that I did not have the time to go for Animangaki. OMG~ serious epic fail!!

Anyways, this pic is a collab with my dear cousin Ann. She drew the sketch and I coloured it. 

Seriously, i dont even have the time to think of anything, so I asked Ann to think of something and I'll just colour it later. Terrible right? XD

But, I hope u guys ♥ it anyway... hope Ann likes it too. She wanted it to be colourful, but its Halloween, its more creepy and dark to me, so Im so sorry that I have to turn the pic to a darker side. -grins-

CGD Final Project

The abstract design for my CGD class's final project.
Its not the full version yet... its supposed to be a combination of a sports game with a vector design. So this is the vector design.
The sports that my lecturer chosen for me was tennis. Thus, im trying to combine both designs into one. Kinda feeling a headache now. DX
After the initial design is done, we have to use Illustrator to create the whole pic. Sobs... cant use photoshop. It'll be so much easier if i could photoshop. hehe~

BigBen

OMG... i have totally gone from artblock to insane boredom-ness.
I have 2 freaking assignments to complete and blardy hell, i still have time to change layout. This proves my attention span is like a rabbit, only yeh short. OTL


I was just finding inspirations on the net and i had the sudden urge to log into my blog and change something. I did not plan to change the layout, i just felt like changing something.

Yep, i love UK so much, so i thought i drew BigBen. I've been there when i was young, i miss it so much.
My choice was either BigBen or Leaning Tower of Pisa but i chose BigBen instead.


This is just the rough sketch. Sorry if the quality is bad cos it was lightly drawn on the layout pad so i adjusted the contrast and colour on PS as to see the sketch clearly.
I still have to add in the lines design and all. Will only post the final result up when lecturer has finish marking it on Tuesday. ^^

Ohaiyo... i have no class today so i took some time out of assignments to do my own work.
Not really an artwork though, more like a practice for myself.
I really suck at painting backgrounds so i started with practicing some clouds/sky background.
No reference, just out of curiousity-ness of how a cloud should be done.

*woot* 1st week assignments finally passed up. Uber stress~
And i've finally finished the dots design. Argh, it was stressful but fun. I love it. ^^
So um, this is the final result of my dots/ circles design.
Yea, the background was so EMPTY, i just had to add some abstracts into it. *lovelove*
The final touch was to outline it with artliner so yea... here it is.

I was afraid that the lecturer might say its outta topic cos she only asked for 5 objects but i gave her like so many craps behind it. T___T So i actually drew another one with ONLY JUST 5 objects. Plain much~
This week's assignment? Is to do Lines Design. mwahaha~ i wanna die now. lolol XD
I guess lines are easier, cos everything is based out of lines. 


Man, i miss doing my own work. I have not been drawing my stuffs for 3 weeks now. Sad, need inspirations and more free time. 
I hope i can even make it for CF 100 days countdown. I've booked my date but am not sure if i can complete the drawing in time. Yikes (>___<)


Drawing class was so sad. I practically rushed my work. Sobs~ 
We had to draw some geometric shapes in 3D and i was running outta time so i crapped on the last pic. DX

epic FAIL dots

i feel like killing myself... like now~
remember my design class assignment i have to draw a pic using only dots and circles? well, u can officially shoot me in the head *headshot*
Dahlah i already artblock, now when the inspiration flow already, still not satisfied. 
If im not satisfied with it, i cant outline it with my artliner. T_______T



1st initial sketch was done in college during class when we had the time, but but but i also didnt know what to draw. My friend busy on her iphone looking for inspirations. LoL
The only thing that flowed thru my head at that time was wonderland... candies, teacups, cakes etc~


So yea, i drew them out regardless of~ just in case the lecturer pass by and ask how come havent draw anything yet. teehee~ XD
Final decision? NOT SATISFIED WITH IT!! Go home and think of other things!



The 2nd sketch was only done yesterday, getting inspirations from everywhere, everything.
*ta-da* this came out but im still not 100% satisfied with it... not really. OTL
I know lecturer only said dots and circles but if im not mistaken, i remember her saying something about swirls or teardrop shape also can, and lines if possible but not too much. 
So what-ever, i just draw only. If she's not satisfied, meh, redo again lo. DX
And yep, the 2nd sketch became more of an abstract pic than dots/circles pic. 0___0


p/s: am de-stressing myself by learning how to play Cendrillon on the piano, but still stressful cos blardy hard to play. So many notes. DX

TOA week1

Ok... so i've been Missing-In-Action this whole week. I know~

Its cos im so busy driving up & down to TOA that i feel so tired everytime i come home. Thus, lazy to on9 and whatnot.

But its been fun this week, although bit stress but its cool.

Thank god for afternoon class. Finished art class. This class would be fun for those who loves getting their hands dirty, cos this class requires a lot of hands-on work.

This week's assignment? Is to do a diamond-shaped box. *stresslevelshootsup*

After class, went to HoneyMoon at Pyramid for tea with my new pals. Yum, we were all in a sudden craving for desserts.

Class ended at 6.30pm and now im back home @ 8.30pm. 2 hours later? Blardy jam sial.

For the 1st time of my life, im enjoying History class. LMAO~ cos its History of Arts & Design.

So we learn about all the arts history from Greece, Egypt, Mesopotamia and so on. Very cool. ^^

Drawing1 class was awesome. We did still-life drawing today, more like a test. 2 and a half hours to complete the drawing.

There were 4 tables at each corner with their own diff objects, so we get to choose what we wanna draw. I chose the one with the winebottle.

It was kinda difficult, cos i usually just draw still-life but do not shade it. This time its a must-shade! Hands shivering like crazy, using at least 4 pencils from 2H to 2B to 4B to 8B! *pullshair*

Language & Communication Skills class was ok i guess. Its so zzz to me cos its English. 

I mean, im good at English so learning it again for the 4th time since i started college is kinda tiring.

Design1 class was ok i guess. The lecturer was funny. We did dots design today. 

First, we had to draw a sketch of something u like and then try to use dots/circles to complete the drawing. OMG... artblock moment!

First day of class - Figure Studies. Um, there was a test given when the lecturers came in. WTH?!

A self-portrait and side view portrait of the opposite gender. LoL~ with no reference [for the self-portrait]. Stress right? 1st day of class got test alr. haha...

The lecturer was kinda boring. He cant speak English well, and always with the um, uh, liddat, blah blah etc~ Ok, like since when lecturers use blah blah blah? ROFL~

Grandma is feeling bit better, i think its the steroids. It gives her a bit of a boost up, so now her speech is better, she can form sentences better than before.
And she is reading newspaper again! Boy, i have not seen that in a while and im really happy that everything is well.
The op will be this Thurs... praying for the best!!

Life is not peaceful at the moment.
My grandma is diagnosed with a tumor in her brain. Why, of all people, of all the bad people, u chose my grandma to be the victim? 
I dont see any bad guys out there being diagnosed with anything, they're out there... living a healthy life, enjoying their life... WTH~ and my grandma has to stay in the hospital and suffer?
My grandma doesnt deserve this. I pray everyday that she will get well and i REALLY pray that the ops go well.

Life is unfair, God is unfair.
nuff said.



Life is so colourless to me right now. I dont even have the mood to add colours to my art. 
Am also busy, busy running up and down the hospital day and night.
I dont mind... seriously, if it takes for my grandma to get well, i dont mind.

Was experimenting with Paint Tool Sai here... still new to it so am bit crappy. But loving it so far, the tools are easier to use compared to Photoshop. :)

MIA updates

OMG... i deeply apologize for MIA the last few weeks. My blog was having some problems so i had to shut it and go under maintenance.

Im not sure what was the problem, cos some of my posts went missing, the layout changed and... some tiny lil details went haywired. So that is why i no longer blog @ art-ofmy-life.blogspot.com.

I changed my blog add and try to recover back my posts that i lost. It was so freaking troublesome and i was non-stop trying to bring my blog back to life. Life was busy the last 2 weeks.

However, certain stuffs are still un-clickable, like my row of 2nd header at the top. Still WIP.

I dunno... maybe i shouldnt blog @ blogger anymore. Was thinking of changing blog sites, maybe xanga/ word press/ livejournal etc~

There's so many to choose from but cos blogger being the most common used blog site, so i use it. But i hear that wordpress/ livejournal is better. I may check it out and migrate there. Will see~

Celebrated Rachel's birthday today in advanced. Her actual birth date is on the 10th.

Went to Bkt Jelutong for the lunch party.

After filling our stomachs, we headed upstairs for more cosplay plan talks. But sadly, we were later interrupted by the kids who came in screaming and jumping on us. :/

I was drawing RinxLen magnet version on the scribbler pad. Um, u know those drawing pads where u can draw and then erase it with a swoosh of the thingy [magnetic like]. Not sure if u understand, if u do then ok. ^^

I drew it to show Ann what RinxLen look like in Magnet version. Then i drew Miku magnet version and the kids was like: "so nice..." and asked me to draw for them. DX

Rach quickly took out her artblock and pencil and asked me to draw Miku magnet. 

So i did, and younger sis Renee got jealous and asked me to draw for her too. OMG, since when i was doing request? LoL~

I drew for her a anime portrait version of Renee. She wanted long hair, star necklace and a mini hat. hehe~

Uncle and family was back from SG, this time to visit my grandma.

She fell down a couple of days back and got some stitches, so uncle was worried and came back to see her.

And also cos its a long weekend holiday as Monday is SG Independence Day.

Uncle got some KHR thing for my bro. So nice, i also want one. XD

Its like a door hanger, u know those that says: "Im taking a nap, do not disturb". Yea, just that this one the sentences are more like the charas frm KHR.

I got a cute lil mirror pocket and snack from Japan from my aunt.

Went to Papa Johns at Aeon Bkt Tinggi for dinner.

Yumyum... me love Papa Johns, better than Pizza Hut. ^3^

We ordered Hawaiian Papa cos it has extra cheese toppings! Hooray for cheese.

After that, dropped by Comic Paradise for a quick browse.

My aunt ended up buying the whole set of "Kaichou wa Maid-sama" mangas. She wanted "Kuroshitsuji" too but some of the volumes were sold out. Yep, she's an otaku also. [haha, half-otaku]

I got myself 2 mangas. Was attracted to its cover, very traditional/olden asian era.

Reached home and quickly read the latest copy of Maid-sama [Bk10]. The story is very exciting now, i wanna read the next book fast!!!!!!! XD
