Top 5 Spring Anime 2015

Hi you, it's me again. I am still strucked by the fact that it's April already, which means Spring time... (in Japan, and some other countries). So, I'm here to bring you my top 5 animes for this Spring.

I am very psyched about this season's anime as they have the best releases ever since Summer 2014. Not only that, the releases of Season 2 and Season 3 of my favourite animes. I'm guessing everyone should know what animes I'm talking about. It is of course, non other than:
1. Nisekoi Season 2
2. Uta Pri Season 3
3. High School DxD Born Season 3
4. Yahari Ore no Seishun Season 2

Without further ado, let's move on to my top 5!

#5 Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyouku
Synopsis:
A story which revolves around a high school girl named Eruna Ichinomiya, who enters the Mikagura Academy dreaming of a school life filled with beuaty and moe. Little did Eruna knows that this special school, everyone needs to belong in a club as these clubs battle and fight with special powers in order to decided a club's treatment in the school.

My verdict:
This anime reminds me a lot of Baka to Test, where each classed battle in a virtual world to determine their grades and class placement. The only difference is that this anime revolves around a girl rather than a guy and it is not as moe/cutesy as Baka to Test. But I love it nonetheless as its hilarious and the art/animation is nice.

#4 Shokugeki no Souma
Synopsis:
Yukihira Souma's dream is to become a full-time chef in his father's restaurant and surpass his father's culinary skills. But after Yukihira graduated from middle school, his father decided to close down the restaurant to cook in Europe. Not only that, his father also enrolled him into one of the elite culinary school where only 10% of the students graduate each year. Will Souma survive this?

My verdict:
This anime was recommended to watch by my bro, Jin who has read the manga and said that it's a really good manga, apart from the part where scenes of delicious food eaten by people are turned into a (ahem) extreme bliss emotion (like foodgasm). Although Im not a fan of those "bliss" part, the other part of the story is awesome.

Most of the students look down on him because he's not as "Elite" as they are; but hah~ man, the looks on their faces when he cooks up some bad-ass food which gets him some good grades. And not forgetting, the food shown in the anime... OMG, it looked so real that it makes my hungry everytime Im watching the anime. :9

#3 Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo
Synopsis:
Ryu Yamada is a high school student who is always late for school, naps in classes and gets horrible grades while Urara Shiraishi, is the brightest student in his school. One day, their bodies were swapped unintentionally. It wasn't as bad as they thought it was as they find it easier to move around in that person's body.

My verdict:
Comedy is always my go-to when it comes to anime; oh and hot guys too. And this comedy definitely wasn't a let down. I have been catching the manga and seeing it turn into an anime was like a dream come true. Eventhough some of the characters are terrible and weird, you will come to like them slowly but surely. I know I did.

#2 Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka?
Synopsis:
A story where a boy strives to become the best adventurer and to meet a person of the opposite gender. One day, he was saved by a top-class female adventurer and fell in love at first sight.

My verdict:
An awesome mix of adventure, comedy, fantasy and romance, what's not to like? This anime is beyond compare and it really is a refreshing anime. By adventure of course, it doesn't mean it's gonna be like another Swort Art Online or Log Horizon; nope, nothing like that here; instead it is cuter and the action scenes are superb!

#1.5 Etotama (bonus)
Synopsis:
The anime revolves around Nyaa-tan, a cat who strives to become part of the chinese 12 zodiacs! However, to become part of it, she has to beat all the Eto-shins (12 zodiacs). However, she is not that strong till one day, he meets a boy, Takeru Amato; where she slowly reach towards her goal.

My verdict:
A bonus 1.5 added as there is too many awesome animes this season like I said, and I can't choose just 5, I needed to add another! 1 word.... MMMOOEEEE!!!! If you love moe-ness and cute-ness and all things kawaii, this is for you. This anime features the 12 chinese Zodiacs, hello... I'm a lover of any zodiac story. Every Eto-shins has their funny, unique characteristics and it is epic funny. I also adore the part where they turn chibi size when they go into battle. *moemoe*

#1 Owari no Seraph
Synopsis:
The story takes place in a world where an unknown virus has killed the entire human race except for children, who are enslaved by vampires. The main boy, Yuichiro Hyakuya dreams of becoming strong enough so that he can kill all the vampires.

My verdict:
L-O-V-E! Serious love for this anime. If you are a fan of supernatural and vampire stuffs, this is for you. The animation is spot-on and the characters are... (bishie-ness).Definitely a must watch for this season! (ノ≧∀≦)ノ

I hope u guys enjoyed my top 5 animes for this Spring. Stay awesome, xoxo

December Favourites 2014

Hi you,it's me. I can't believe it December already and Im back with another monthly favourites again.

So December is my birthday & also Christmas month, so yeah... more gifts? :)

#1 Lovisa's Snowflake Earrings
I have always been a lover of snowflakes (despite not having any snow in Malaysia); I'm quite cray-cray over snowflakes. And I was head over heels on this pair of earrings that I saw while passing by Lovisa. It caught my eyes straight away.

I love how the design isn't all that plain, and that extra bling in the middle gives it a nice touch. I also love how it's a dangle earrings as I already own a pair of snowflake stud earrings (heh, typical me).

#2 Marc Jacobs Daisy
I don't actually own the full bottle of this perfume (only sample size) but I absolutely adore the scent of it. I got the sample off a fashion magazine, and Im really thankful to that mag, cause if it hadn't I would not have found this lovely scent.

The scent is not strong, and of course there is scent of sparkling floral bouquet. It gives a sophisticated yet playful scent topped with violet, musk, gardenia, white wood, & jasmine petals. Much love for this scent.

#3 Pandora Bracelet & Charm
I finally own something from Pandora (hah)! I've been hearing everyone raving about the sudden "Pandora" bracelet thing and was like; what's so great about it, it's just another brand out there famous just for its name, not the product.

I have to take some of my words back since I now own one, I really can't complain much. I got it as a birthday/xmas present from my aunt & cousin. I really did not expect such a gift as their (ahem) quite pricey. Don't you just adore the art palette charm? It's so pretty and colourful. Now all I have to do now is complete this pandora themed bracelet of mine :)

#4 Nendoroid Snow Miku 2013 (Strawberry ver)
A bit late in the Snow Miku section but hey; good things come to those who wait. And... I still can't believe I got this Snow Miku at such an incredibly reasonable price. Thank you Good Smile for coming to Comic Fiesta 2014 & giving us such affordable nendos! Isn't she a beau? I can't wait to do a review on her, please look forward to it.

Stay awesome, xoxo~

November Favourites 2014

Wow, time sure flies and it's already the month of December! As you all know, I started having this "monthly favourites" post since the last couple of months, so I hope to continue doing it as so my blog will not feel so dull.

You know the drill, monthly favourites shows my favourite products/things that I have enjoyed in that particular month. As for November, let's start off with skincare shall we.

1 Innisfree Green Tea Pure Cleansing Foam
Most of you know that I suffer from very sensitive skin so finding products that suits my skin is a nightmare for me. I've always love Innisfree's products as there're free from harsh chemicals and paraben. This cleanser definitely wasn't a let down, it deeply cleanses my face without giving me that dry flaky after feel. On the plus side, it smells really good as well.

2 Biore UV Aqua Rich Sunblock (SPF 50PA++)
Yet again, I have a really sensitive skin so sunblock has also been an issue for me the last decade of years (the irony). Biore came out with this watery essence/water base sunblock at the beginning of the year and I have been dying to try it out (ever since I heard review on how good it is even for sensitive skin).

I finally got my hands on it, and yes; I definitely agree no less. The texture is really watery and it's not like any other sunblocks that has thick base. Furthermore, it is also safe for the face! I've been using it on both my face and hands everyday and my skin is thanking it. The great part is that it works as an ideal makeup base, keeping my skin radiant. Well, you can't underestimate Japanese products! They make the best. :)

3 Quartz and Layered Necklaces
Huge fan of layered necklaces, and especially those that are detachable and can be mixed and matched. This quartz necklace that I got from Lovisa is simply stunning. It is simple yet it creates a bold statement when you layered it with the other pieces.

I've been styling it almost everyday for the month of November; the best is to pair it with a simple white top/ or just any simple coloured top. Major in love with these necklaces.

Book of the Month:

4 To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han
Fell in love with the title; fell in love even more after reading the summary at the back. This book will be really interesting for those teens/tweens who are going through a relationship or has a crush on someone. Not to bore you off, but it also revolves around family and friends; so yea, a bit of both. Definitely a must-read.

Animes of the Month:
5 Gugure Kokkuri-san (too much comedy, I laughed so much till my stomach hurts)
6 Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji (romance comedy, best combo ever)
7 Love Live School Project Season 1 & 2 (I know I'm a bit too late in the Love Live! series but well, I thought it was more for the "Guys" you know... but after watching the first few eps, I practically couldn't stop & marathon the 1st season straight. I definitely enjoyed the anime)

December is here and I can't believe we're coming to the end of another year. (T^T) I do wish time would slow down just a moment. How are you spending your last month for the year?

xoxo~ stay gold
