I guess i'll be splitting my updates into 3 posts. Cos i think i have too many updates and pix to share. orz

It was IL day that day, IL is short for Illustration, and coincidentally, its my initial as well. ^^
So basically, it was a day trip to one of the illustration studios in M'sia, known as Studio C.L.I.M.B.
Ok, maybe not everyone will know about it but if you are in the arts industry, then you should know. For those who dont know, i'd suggest you google? hurrhurr XD
Anyways, it was a fun experience although Tako wasnt able to make it as she wasnt feeling well. T^T
Much advice and experiences was given by the illustrators there, especially the head, Mr Spencer Ooi. He was incredibly funny, outgoing and funny. haha...
We got to see how they do storyboarding, process of turning your sketch into the final animation etc~
All in all, it was a great hands-on experience. Wouldnt trade it for anything else.

I think i remembered mentioning in my blog that i wanted to get a new laptop right? And that post was like what? A year ago or so....
Been thinking here and there on where to get a nice white one, apart from Mac and Sony.
Have always been a Sony fan thus the love and need to get the Sony Vaio. End of last year, my parents was asking me to get a Macbook instead since im doing illustration.
But as you know, i am not a huge fan of Mac and im definitely not a huge fan of spending. Seriously, im kinda stingy just because i dont wanna be spendthrift.
Earlier this year, I was still telling myself to get the Sony Vaio. Even few months ago, i was still determined to get the Vaio, no matter what.
It has came to a point where i had to ask my uncle for suggestions on the Macbook, since he's a huge fan of Mac and he uses nothing but Mac.
Turns out Macbook has some good features to it too. Besides that the graphics is good [alr knew that], Mac rarely gets any viruses cos there is only few viruses that can attack a Mac.
And there is many more things he listed to me but im too lazy to type it out... and also, i found out that Mac can function parallel desktops, which means i can install Windows as well.
It was the week my uncle was supposed to come back from Sg and to go look into Macbook together. Unfortunately he got himself injured during his trip to Australia. T^T
It was a very last minute decision. It was either the Macbook Pro 13" or the new Sony Vaio S series. Both has the same specs, only thing that varies is the price. RM4599 & RM3499. Huge difference eh?
So i kinda went out with my godmum & family to 1U, 2 family outings. :)
It was a hard decision to make and i really need to apologize to Jin & Vy for wasting their day just to see me stress over which lappy to buy. OMG~ im such a horrible person.
I was practically walking back and forth from the Sony Centre to Mac City. Decisions, decisions....
Finally i took the Mac, not because its highly expensive and i can rub it in your face kinda thing, but because i feel that since im doing illustration, i do need good graphics.
My heart got that prick feeling coz it was a lot of $$$ to spend. I felt joy and terrible at the same time, knowing that my parents are paying for it, and there's nothing much i can do about it.
So yea, after being loyal to my old lappy for 4 years, here's time to change to my new baby~ My MacBook Pro 13". ^3^

p/s: 2 things i love most about it is its dock and the multi-function trackpad. hurrhurr XD
