So I decide to do a product review on some stuffs I've bought a few months back.
It has been quite hectic for me as I was busy with assignments and my skin was breaking out badly due to lack of sleep and such.
In this post, I've decided to do some review on moisturizers. :)
BTW, if u do enjoy some products review, I would love to do them for you.
So, let's start off with L'oreal's Hydrafresh & Anti-Shine All-Day Hydrating and Matifying Icy Gel. Yes, that's a freaking long name.
I bought this during summer for the weather was burning hot, and my makeup usually doesn't stay in place for long.
Decided to give this a try when I was watching Bubz's review on some products too. My verdict for the product? Well...
First off, yes... it's hydrating; yet matifying at the same time. I seriously do not get it.
I am not sure if its because of my skin condition, but Im sad to say that it didn't worked for me/my skin.
I applied it like any other moisturizer before putting on my makeup, it will feel all cool and tingly when you first apply, which is quite refreshing. Your face will feel hydrate and matte at the same time. And putting on makeup was an easy-go. I wanted to see how long can my makeup last since it keeps my face matte.
Unfortunately, a few hours later, my skin tends to dry up and my skin starts peeling; especially around my nose area, and that is usually the most oily part of my face.
So a yes and no maybe? Yes if you want a icy feeling on your face, no if your skin is too dry and matifying your face again is a big no-no.
I will still continue using it but maybe not when im applying makeup, maybe on normal daily basis stay-at-home moisturizer.
Hydrate level: 4/10
Matify level: 5/10
Oil level: 0/10 [seriously, its not oily at all, which is good]
Cooling effect: 6/10
Price: RM29.90 ok, reasonable

Next, we shall move on to my supa-dupa current favourite moisturizer of all time; Narüko 爱慕可's Raw Job's Tears, Supercritical CO2 Whitening Night Gelly. [yes, the gelly is spelled with a "G"]
I am super in love with this product after my friend introduced it to me. Since I suffer from sensitive skin, I usually do not simply use any products especially with paraben in it. So before I found this awesome thing, I was using Hada Labo's Moisturizer, which works great too since it doesn't have any harsh chemicals in it.
But Narüko's Raw Job's Tears is amazing.
It is only supposed to be used during the night time before going to bed hence called Whitening Night Gelly. But I did not bother and use it everyday during the day.
The product not only gives you a soft suppled skin, it also leaves a cooling effect too! :D
The "Gelly" is actually clear and transparent and it is made from al-natural ingredients. No harsh chemicals inside AT ALL!
However, for a 60ml, it is kinda expensive but who cares? If it works, it works. I don't mind paying extra for a good moisturizer, especially for people who has sensitive skin like me, and trust me, it is not easy looking for a good moisturizer.
Apart from that, this moisturizer comes with a cute lil spoon/scooper inside the box.
It is awesome because it is hygienic. Stating that you shouldn't stick your dirty fingers into it and contaminate the rest of the "gelly" inside.
The purpose of the mini spoon is to scoop the "gelly" out from the jar and then, use your fingers to dab it over your face. Of course, remember to clean the spoon after every use.
I highly recommend this to people who suffers from sensitive skin or ezcema [which I have]. No itch or red rash or red spots after applying.
Moisture level: 9/10
Hygiene level: 10/10 [thanks to the spoon]
Oil level: 0/10 [yes, another non-oily product]
Cooling effect: 7/10
Price: RM49.90 [worth every penny]
NO HARSH CHEMICALS!!
