Yet another night to remember. This is the day [May 2nd] where nothing else matters outside of the Bukit Jalil Stadium, only the inside.
Went there as early as 6pm to get my merchandises before it got sold out. The queue was hell long, but thankfully i was early and managed to get what i wanted. From LeeHom mugs to tees, h/p strap, ring, necklace, cap and eco-friendly bag.
Owhsome, total cost? RM300!! There goes my allowance *flies away*
I bought the RM398 VIP tix. So i dont have to squeeze with the other fans as the VVIPs and VIPs entrance are separated from the other tix entrance. Had dinner while waiting in line.
Was supposed to meet my friend [met in fanclub] but she was late while waiting for the LRT. Thus went in w/o her.
Concert started @ 8pm sharp with opening acts from our local singers Daniel Lee and Kay. Sadly, it was not fun... at all.
Seriously, i do not get Kay's songs. They're awful and not worth listening to [no offense to her fans out there].
The crowd obviously cant wait for our Music-Man to appear. After their performances, the lights went out and focus on LeeHom's "Bahamut" guitar which was hung up on the stage.
And then, *ta-da* LED lights and huge screen of Music-Man appeared. The screen shows an animation of how LeeHom turns into Music-Man and saves the world with his music! Oh man, its so cool!
After the short intro, Music-man was lowered from the top of the stage alongside his Bahamut guitar. Crowd screamed, jumped and screamed some more.
He opened the concert with the song from his latest single, "What's Wrong with Rock 摇滚怎么了!" And the whole stadium's ambiance was lifted and voices of all fans was heard, singing alongside him.
I have to say, the best part of the concert was when he came out playing the violin, serenading all of us. *faints*
He played "Luo Ye Gui Gen 落叶归根" from the movie Lust, Caution and he surprised the fans by playing a Disney Classic, "When U Wish Upon A Star".
The worse part? Is that cameras are not allowed! Freakin RELA ppl will shine their dang torchlights at your faces if they spot u. DARN!
Furthermore, the "Gai Bian Zi Ji 改变自己" was awesome as well cos it features 4 diff LeeHoms. Of course the singer would be the real LeeHom.
Another part was when he performed "Heroes of Earth 盖世英雄" where he disappeared from the front stage and appeared at the back of us, which was so near where i was sitting.
Fans reached out to touch him as he was walking back up stage, and he couldnt sing properly cos the fans were pushing here and there.
Around 10.30pm LeeHom sang "Kiss Goodbye" and fans were sad thinking its the last song of the night. He did went down the stage after singin it. But that did not stopped the fans, everyone shouted ENCORE! ENCORE! till our throats were sore.
Knowing that LeeHom will not let us down, he came back up singing 3 more hit singles. This time, his piano came out with him and he was jazzing it up with the piano *swoons & faints again*
Almost everyone was high and was standing on the chairs, to hell with those RELA ppl. I dont freaking care but some did so did not stand.
But LeeHom shouted: Everybody on the chair. And everyone stood up! Happy gila yo~
The concert officially ended @ 11.05pm. Thankfully i bumped into my friend before i went back, took pics of the perfect moments and chit-chat a bit while heading to the exit.
The jam outside was terrible of course. Not even a single car was moving... I was stuck in the same spot for like half an hour. Only managed to get home at 1am. OMG~
But it was all worth it. I have my mum to thank for for the awesome tix. And LeeHom rocked the stadium tonight. YAY~
