Innisfree

A while back while I was on holiday in Singapore, I dropped by Innisfree to get my hands on their "much raved" products. It's a pity Malaysia does not have a store yet, I wonder why. Almost all the famous Korean brands are here in Malaysia but Innisfree is not.

I got my hands on a few products that I have jot down before the trip. After all, how often do I get to visit Singapore and come to Innisfree again right. The cashier was nice to throw in a trial-kit of their newly launched Green Tea line. I was psyched.

p/s: This is not a sponsored post. I bought these products with my hard earned cash.

Did you know? Innisfree products are made out of all natural ingredients, and it is paraben-free! Because I have really sensitive skin, my skin do not thank any products out there that carries paraben/fragrance. To be honest, 90% of the skincare products carries Paraben, hence I do not have much choices of brands to use except for Hada Labo, Uriage & Innisfree. Hada Labo has been my saviour for the longest time so I thought I gave another brand a chance.

#1 Innisfree Eco Science White C Lotion
Whitening lotion that helps brighten the skintone with its natural Jeju Tangerine Peel and Green Tea extract, leaving skin supple and moist from within.

My Verdict:
I love it. After using it for a month, I definitely feel that my skin is more moist and supple. Whitening effect? I don't really see it but maybe it doesn't show up that fast as I'm quite tan (very athletic back in High School days so Im in the sun a lot). Another reason why I adore this product is that it is watery and not a thick cream base. I love how it glides onto my face easily without leaving a sticky feeling after. Lastly, due to the natural ingredients, the lotion smells awesome (especially the tangerine smell).

#2 Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Trial-Kit
Enriched with squeezed Green Tea and green complex from Jeju Island to deliver abundant moisture & nourishment deep into the skin. This awesome Green Tea range comes in 4 different lines:
a) The Green Tea Fresh Line : for people with oily skin
b) The Green Tea Balancing Line : for people with combination skin
c) The Green Tea Moisture Line : for people with dry skin
d) The Green Tea Seed Line : for special moisturizing and extra nourishment

My Verdict:
I love it too! (haha) The products has such nice consistency and it is very pleasing to my skin. For one, it is not sticky, it absorbs and penetrates into my skin with haste. And yes, you will feel your skin all smooth and suppled after applying it.

I first apply the Green Tea Seed serum, and then moved on to the Green Tea Balancing Skin . The Green Tea Balancing Skin is a toner (I presume?) as it is all written in Korean. The name did not helped much either.

After that, I apply the Green Tea Balancing Lotion, which has a lightweight consistency and I super love it. It also gives a cooling effect when you're applying it. Lastly would be the Green Tea Balancing Cream. The cream is a bit thicker than the Lotion but it still glides on smoothly despite the thickness.

I would definitely get my hands on more Innisfree products, either when Im down in Singapore or when Innisfree decides to "land" in Malaysia. I'm falling in love with their products more and more just by using them. :)

Travel Diary: Singapore Day 4 (last)

Hi all, this is the final post for my trip to Singapore.
I hoped you all enjoyed all the previous posts and hope you'll enjoy the last one as well.
I can't say that I took a lot of pictures on the last day cause it was very rush and I only capture what I can managed.

We hung around Orchard Road for the whole day. Trying to re-shopped what we didn't managed to see on the first day.
So unfortunately, there weren't many pix... OMG~ like seriously.
But... here's what I can afford to put up among all the other unbearable looking ones. :)

more bokeh to hurt your eyes XD

at Orchard Road...

And finally, it was the end for us and Singapore International Airport here we come. :(
It was sad that our journey has come to an end but this wonderful joyous family trip has brought us wonderful memories, and not forgetting that it has bonded our relationship in a way we could not express.
Im really thankful and happy for this trip.

aah yes, I simply adore the decorations at SIA.

After editing all the pictures, I realize that... Im snapping a lot of unrelated stuffs but I love it, and I love capturing the things I adore.
It might not be significant to you, but for me, these are all worth a thousand words.
Memories that are meant to be jot down and captured of; will forever remain in my heart. ♥

Travel Diary: Singapore Day 3

Hi, I am back with the 3rd day of my Singapore trip. It was my birthday that day and I had loads of fun with everyone.
We decided to go to Sentosa Island and check out Resort World as well. However, out main reason there is to snap pictures.
I really wanted to head to Siloso Beach but mum said the schedule for us is too tight today and we do not have enough time to see everything.

Universal Studios again... but it was first for my god family.
We did not go in for any rides, just stayed outside and took pix of the globe. orz

More pix~ lalalala...

A really short trip there and after that we headed to Vivo City for more shopping.
I feel kinda bad for my bro and Jin cos we've been non-stop shopping and they are so bored just by following us.
The usual, I love bokeh shots. So whenever I see there's a chance to capture bokeh, I will capture it. teehee~

I ♥ this pic very much thou Vy's a bit blurred out. orz
Had dinner and shopped around the next destination, which was at Nex.
Nex was near my uncle's place so we made that the last stop and also the place to have my bday dinner?
Yea, mum kinda booked the place too and I totally had no idea about it.
I am very lucky, really. I know that sometimes I rant on life and stuffs but deep down, I appreciate every thing my parents did for me.
I just couldn't express it so much and sometimes, I express wrongly and I ended up getting scolded. Haha~ like really.
I have received awesome presents from both families and my parents too.
I will show my presents in another post as I just had to do a photoshoot of them. -winks-

After the cake cutting session, my uncle took us cruising in his car to check out the night view of Singapore Flyer/Eye of Singapore and Marina Bay Sands.
The view was seriously breathtaking and my lousy camera can't take any night shots so I borrowed Vy's cam to snap some shots.
It was the best shots I could get as the car was moving. All in all, I would say great birthday indeed. :)

Stay tuned for my last day post in Singapore. :)
xo~

Travel Diary: Singapore Day 1 & 2

The last 4 days I holidayed in Singapore... yet again, but this time its with my god-family. It was nearing Christmas so we thought we make a trip there since both families have been thinking of taking a trip together.
And the view of Singapore during xmas; its beautiful decos along Orchard Road, the christmas trees in every mall, and of course xmas shopping.

We took an early flight @ dawn so that we don't waste any precious time while we were there.
I have always sit beside the aircraft pane so that I could gaze out the pane & await what beautiful scenery will pass me by.
And it was my 1st time flying before sunrise so I definitely had to take this shot before we took off.

Our first stop when we arrived there was to check-in to the hotel that my god-fam were staying at, the RELC Hotel.
Because there was no rooms available yet, we decided to leave our luggages there and head for shopping.

Snapping around the hotel too... hurr XD
We shopped around Orchard road 1st; like Ion, Takashimaya, 313@Somerset and Ngee Ann City.

For tea, I got to have my favourite rosti at Ambush, Takashimaya.
I absolutely adore the rosti and carbonara there. Its really well cooked and the sausage there, is freaking awesome! :D

Of course not forgetting the awesome sweets/pastry/cookies/chocolate/awesomeness at Taka.
Absolutely adore their food/snacks. My family never miss to buy the food there. -winks-

Some christmas trees at Taka and 313@Somerset.

We dropped by Smiggle to check out their new stuffs. I love love love Smiggle, don't you? The colours really brightens my day.
Mum bought 2 new iPhone covers again from there. Yes, she is obsessed with Smiggle's iphone cases. XD
Aren't they adorable?

The 2nd day we headed to Plaza Singapura and Bugis Junction.
I would say it was really fruitful as Ivy got to buy the stuffs she was searching for.

the derp sibling XD

Will be posting more on Singapore, so stay tuned or follow me on instagram @_ixskye for more updates. ^^
