Wow, i have been waiting for this day to come and its here. It is the 1st Asia Chopin Grand Piano Concert, which is hald at KLCC [KL Convention Centre] yesterday. Im so excited~
There were 2 categories, Junior Gala & Gala. I bought tix for both. I am attending this concert with my piano teacher and fellow colleagues from Yamaha School.

It was jam getting to KL. Thank god we left early and reached just in the nick of time.
Looked for the concert hall and got seated. As i walked in, there were 4 Grand Pianos on the stage. But the concert did not start till 6.15pm cos our King was late. His granddaughter is participating in the concert as well.
Oh and sadly, cameras were not allowed during the performances, therefore no pics of anybody performing anything at all. *cries*

Some of the songs were being played by 8 pianists which makes 16sets of fingers. Aint it awesome? I especially enjoyed Siciliene from Sonata in Eflat by Bach & Wilberg.
Towards the end, the King's granddaughter's group was up. They were all very young, so there's 3pianists on a GrandPiano. So cute~
They played TwinkleTwinkle Little Star but in their own mix. I really love the way they turn Twinkle2 Little Star into an Oriental mix.
Jr Gala ended @ 7.15pm, which did not leave us much time for dinner as the Gala starts @ 8pm. Thus, we scurried to Kenny Rogers and ate. Stupidly, there was only spagetthi left as their oven was spoiled. WTH? Got such thing?
Whatever... we ate anyway.
This post is getting bit long-winded. I shall continue the Gala concert in the next post. Stay tuned. ^^
